Semelai Association for Boating and Tourism
Semelai Association for Boating and Tourism (SABOT) is fully owned and managed by the Semelai. It was formed in 1999 as a society with 26 committee members. Currently, SABOT has 60 members and headed by Hashim bin Inolan. This organisation is a community effort to ensure that tourism at Tasek Bera will benefit the Semelai and that income will be equally shared within the community.
